Modular Cabinet Manufacturer
Factory-made modular cabinets for kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms, designed and installed by our own team.
WHAT WE OFFER
Every modular cabinet we build begins in our own factory, not a third-party workshop. As one of the established modular cabinet manufacturers in India, Holzbox combines over three decades of craftsmanship with a fully in-house production setup. That means precision machinery, trained workers, finishing units and multi-stage quality checks all sit under one roof, and the result shows clearly in the fit, the finish and the long-term durability of every cabinet we deliver.
Our current range covers modular cabinets for kitchen spaces, living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and workstations. You can pick from acrylic, PU, laminate, membrane and veneer finishes, along with a wide choice of cabinet heights, widths, depths and internal layouts. Base units, wall cabinets, tall storage, corner solutions and appliance housing are all engineered carefully to fit your exact floor plan and daily routine.
Because we manufacture directly in our own unit, we control pricing, timelines and customisation in ways most modular cabinet supplier options simply cannot match. Whether you need a single run of cabinets or a complete multi-room home fit-out, our design team handles drawing, production, delivery and installation across India. Book a free consultation today and turn your storage ideas into finished, lasting cabinetry.

Our Services
Services We Offer
Modular cabinets for kitchen spaces are the backbone of any well-functioning Indian kitchen. We design base units, wall cabinets, tall pantry columns and corner carousels as a coordinated system, not as separate boxes. Every cabinet is sized around your existing or planned kitchen layout, whether that is L-shape, U-shape, parallel, straight or island. The carcass is built in BWR or BWP plywood with aluminium or high-gloss acrylic shutters, and drawer channels carry soft-close hardware rated for long-term daily use.
We plan the interior layout around how your family actually cooks. Deep drawers for pressure cookers and utensils, tall units for brooms and groceries, pull-outs for spices and bottles, and a dedicated garbage compartment come standard. Cabinets are engineered to resist the steam, oil and humidity of an Indian kitchen without swelling or fading, which is where a factory-built cabinet easily outperforms one made on-site by a carpenter.
Modular cabinets for living room walls are where storage meets statement. We build TV units, display shelves, closed storage and floating consoles as an integrated piece that visually anchors your hall. The design can hold your entertainment system, books, decor, a bar or a small reading nook, depending on your lifestyle. Materials range from warm veneer and backlit acrylic to matte laminate and PVD-finished metal accents, so the unit sits comfortably with your flooring, paint and lighting scheme.
Because the living room is your most visible space, the fit has to be precise. Our factory-made units arrive with wall panels pre-aligned, hinges pre-drilled and edges sealed, so installation is clean and dust-free. Hidden wire management for TV and router, soft-close shutters and adjustable shelves are built in as standard. You get a living room focal wall that looks custom-crafted but carries the engineering discipline of modular manufacturing.
Modular cabinets for dining room use serve a double duty. They store your crockery, cutlery, bar ware and serve-ware on one side, and they set the tone of the room on the other. Our dining cabinets include crockery units, sideboards, bar consoles, open display racks and tall cabinets for glassware. Each unit is built to protect fragile pieces with cushioned drawer inserts, adjustable wooden trays and soft-close hinges that keep glass doors from rattling.
We often design the dining cabinet to echo the main dining table finish, so the room reads as one composed space rather than a collection of random furniture. Lighting can be integrated into the cabinet interior for your display shelves. Whether you host large family dinners or a quick weekday meal, the cabinet carries everything you need within arm’s reach and still leaves the dining area looking uncluttered and elegant.
Bedroom modular cabinets bring together wardrobe storage, bedside units, dresser consoles and overhead lofts in one planned system. The wardrobe carcass is usually built in 18mm BWP ply with an internal layout of hanging rails, adjustable shelves, drawer stacks, shoe racks and trouser pull-outs. Shutters can be hinged, sliding or walk-in, and the outer finish can range from laminate and membrane to veneer, PU and acrylic.
Because bedrooms are personal, we design cabinets around how you dress, sleep and store. A couple with a shared wardrobe gets balanced hanging zones. A guest bedroom gets a compact cabinet that keeps bedding neat. A kids’ room gets low reachable shelves and safe rounded edges. Every cabinet is built in the factory, flat-packed for clean transport, and installed by our team to a precise finish line.
Cabinets for office and study spaces need to be disciplined, durable and visually calm. We build pedestal drawer units, overhead document cabinets, low filing consoles, credenza storage, and open-shelf workstations for both home offices and commercial spaces. Carcass boards are chosen to resist scratches and daily rolling-chair wear, and locks come built in where confidential paperwork lives.
Home study cabinets combine a study desk, overhead books storage and a small side cabinet for printer and stationery into one clean piece. In larger offices, we fit out cabin storage, conference room credenzas and open-plan cluster cabinets. The advantage of a dedicated modular cabinet supplier with its own factory is speed, because you can scale a 10-cabin office or a small corner study with the same finish quality and delivery timeline.
Not every cabinet sits inside a standard size. Custom modular cabinets cover the corners, angles, lofts, bar zones, pooja nooks, foyer shoe racks and passageway niches that off-the-shelf modular cabinet companies struggle with. We start with a site survey to capture real measurements, then bring the project back to our drawing board. Carcass, shutter, hardware and finish are all engineered around the exact space you want to fill.
This is where being one of the more flexible modular cabinet companies in India actually matters. We are not forced into a fixed catalogue. A 550mm deep pantry, a 2700mm tall corner column, a curved TV unit or a mixed-height kitchen island are all achievable, because every part is cut, edge-banded and finished on our shop floor. You get a cabinet that feels bespoke and still comes with the clean lines and smooth hardware of modular engineering.

Testimonials
"We moved from a carpenter-built kitchen to modular cabinets and the storage difference is honestly shocking. The tall pantry alone holds more than my old wall units combined. Pull-out drawers mean I can actually see what's at the back. Pooja shelf, spices, bulk groceries, bar glasses, everything has its own place now. Completely changed how I cook."
"Our dining room used to feel like an afterthought, just a table and a bare wall. The new modular crockery unit with backlit open display shelves turned it into the most photographed room in our home. Guests comment on it every single time. And storage-wise, I finally have one place for the entire family's glassware collection."
"Start to finish it took 18 working days for a full modular wardrobe and kitchen set. The factory team delivered in one shipment, and installation on site was done over three days without any mess in the rest of the apartment. No loud carpentry noise for weeks on end. Exactly what a working family needs."
"The design team asked questions I had honestly never thought about. Where I charge my phone overnight. Which hand I use to reach for spices. Where the grocery bags land when I come home. Small things, but they shaped the cabinet layout around my actual life. That's when I realised this was a different level of design thinking."
"I compared three modular cabinet manufacturers and one local carpenter before finally choosing Holzbox. The carpenter was cheaper on paper, but the finish samples were not even close. With modular, the edges are cleaner, hinges soft-close on their own, and every shutter lines up perfectly. Six months in, I already know I made the right call."
"What sold me was the quote itself. Every line was itemised. Carcass material, shutter finish, hinge brand, drawer channels, handles, delivery, installation, even the silicone sealant. No hidden add-ons showed up when the bill came. For a big-ticket purchase like modular cabinets, that kind of pricing honesty matters more than any marketing pitch."
FAQ's
Most brands in this market are actually trading companies. They take your order, send the specifications to a third-party workshop, mark up the price, and pass the cabinet to you. We are the opposite. Every cabinet is built inside our own production facility, with our own CNC machines, pressing lines, edge-banders, spray booths and skilled team. This gives you three direct advantages. Pricing is cleaner because there is no middleman margin stacked on top. Quality is consistent because the cabinet never leaves a supervised shop floor until it is ready. Timelines are tighter because we are not waiting on another vendor’s production calendar. When you work with a manufacturer and not a dealer, you also get honest answers on what is possible for your project.
Production is fully in-house. Our factory runs CNC panel saws, edge-banding lines, hot press units, spray booths for PU finishes, and a dedicated quality control bay. Raw sheets come in as BWR ply, BWP ply, MDF, HDF and particle board, and they leave as finished cabinet boxes, shutters and internal fittings. Hardware like hinges, channels, handles, pull-outs and soft-close mechanisms is sourced directly from vetted brands and assembled at our unit. Nothing is subcontracted out and rebadged. You are welcome to schedule a factory visit before placing your order, which many of our serious clients do. Seeing the machinery, the staff, the ongoing projects and the quality checks first-hand usually settles any doubts about whether you are buying from a genuine manufacturer or a reseller.
Our factory is based in Hyderabad, but we deliver and install modular cabinets across India. Major metros like Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Kochi are handled by our regular logistics and installation teams. Tier-2 and tier-3 cities are served as well. The process stays the same wherever you are. Design and quotation happen over video calls and shared 3D drawings. Site measurement is done either by a local partner team or by our travelling installer. Cabinets are produced in Hyderabad, packed carefully in protective crates, and shipped to your site. An installation supervisor travels to your location to oversee fitting, so the final assembly is done to factory standard no matter which city you live in.
Carcass boards are chosen based on where the cabinet will live. For dry-area cabinets in living rooms, bedrooms and studies, we use pre-laminated HDHMR or MDF for a clean finish. For wet and humid zones like kitchens, pantries and bathroom vanities, we move to BWR or BWP grade plywood, which is engineered to resist moisture and swelling. Shutters have more variety. You can choose acrylic for a mirror-like gloss, PU paint for a deep colour rich finish, laminate for durability and affordability, membrane for shaped profiles, and veneer for a natural wood grain. Every edge is sealed with PVC or ABS edge banding on industrial machines, so the cabinet does not flare, peel, or absorb moisture from the sides, even after years of daily use.
For Indian kitchens, we usually recommend acrylic or PU shutters on a BWP plywood carcass. Acrylic gives a high-gloss, premium look and resists heat, steam and oil splashes when wiped regularly. PU is a sprayed paint finish that allows bold colour choices with the same scratch and moisture resistance. Laminate is the next choice for value-conscious homes, still highly durable, just slightly less premium in appearance. Membrane shutters are fine for dry areas but we avoid them for main cooking zones because prolonged heat exposure can sometimes lift the edges over several years. Countertops also matter here. A good quartz or granite top paired with proper silicone sealing around the sink keeps moisture out of the carcass entirely. That combination is what gives modular cabinets their long Indian-kitchen life.
Waterproof is a strong word, so let us be precise. In kitchen and bathroom zones, our cabinets are built water-resistant, not submersible. BWR or BWP grade plywood is bonded with phenolic resin adhesive that does not break down when exposed to moisture vapour, splashes or occasional spills. Edges are sealed with PVC or ABS banding to block water ingress from the sides. Around sinks and cooktops, additional silicone sealing is applied during installation. For bathroom vanities, we add an extra PVC foam layer on the base. Under normal household use, this means your cabinets will not swell, warp, or delaminate for many years. Standing water inside a cabinet for days at a time is a different scenario no wooden board survives, regardless of grade, which is why spill cleanup matters.
We build modular cabinets for every room in a home and most rooms in a commercial space. In the kitchen, we handle base units, wall cabinets, tall pantries and islands. In the living room, we design TV consoles, display walls, bar units and bookshelves. In the dining room, we build crockery units, sideboards and glassware cabinets. Bedrooms get wardrobes, bedside storage, dresser consoles and overhead lofts. Pooja rooms, study rooms, utility areas, balcony storage, foyer shoe racks and kids’ room units all sit within our scope. Commercial projects include office cabin storage, retail display fixtures, conference credenzas and reception consoles. Because everything is manufactured on the same factory floor, you can mix rooms in a single project and still get a single design language across the entire home.
Each room places a different set of demands on the cabinet. Modular cabinets for kitchen use need the strongest moisture protection, grease-resistant shutters, deep storage drawers, appliance housing for hobs, chimneys and microwaves, and hardware rated for daily heavy-duty opening. Living room cabinets lean aesthetic. The focus shifts to finish variety, backlit display zones, cable management, TV and soundbar integration, and a shutter style that ties the room together visually. Dining cabinets sit in between. They need enough enclosed storage for crockery and cutlery, but also open and glass-fronted sections to display your finer pieces, plus a surface that doubles as a serving console during meals. We design each room category as a distinct system, even when they share the same finish, so every cabinet earns its space.
Yes, matching is a core part of our design process. During the consultation, we either visit your home or ask for clear photographs of your flooring, wall paint, lighting, curtains, sofa fabric and any existing furniture. From there, we propose shutter finishes, handle styles and interior accents that visually complement what is already in the room. If you are mid-renovation, we work the other way around and select cabinet finishes first, then guide your paint and flooring choices around them. We carry large physical samples of every finish we manufacture, so you can see the actual grain, gloss and colour under your own room light before approving. Colour matching to specific brand shades is also possible through our PU spray booth and laminate catalogue.
Timelines depend on project size, but most homes follow a predictable schedule. First design meeting to site measurement takes three to five days. Design finalisation, including 3D drawings and finish sample approvals, usually takes another seven to ten days. Once drawings are signed and a quotation is approved with advance payment, production starts in the factory and runs for 20 to 25 working days. Delivery and installation at your home typically takes two to five days for a single room and up to ten days for a full home fit-out. End-to-end, a modular kitchen alone often completes in four to five weeks. A full multi-room project sits in the six to eight week range. We share a written schedule so you always know which stage your order is in.
Modular cabinet installation is deliberately less disruptive than traditional carpentry. The cabinets arrive at your site pre-manufactured, so there is no cutting, sawing, planing or polishing happening in your apartment. Installation is mainly assembly, alignment, wall fixing and hardware fitting. For a single kitchen, expect two to three days of activity confined to that room. For a full home fit-out, the team works room by room over five to ten days so that you can continue using the rest of your home. Our installers cover floors with protective sheeting, collect packaging debris every evening, and carry a portable vacuum for cleanup. Noise is minimal compared to on-site carpentry. Most clients continue working from home through the install without any major interruption to daily life.
Retrofitting is one of the most common projects we handle. You do not need to renovate walls, tiles, flooring or electricals in most cases. Our team visits the room, measures the existing layout, checks plumbing and electrical points, and designs new cabinets around the current footprint. The old cabinets or loose furniture are removed on day one. New modular cabinets are delivered pre-cut from the factory and fitted over the next two to four days. Walls are patched and painted only where old fixings leave marks. For older kitchens, we often reuse the existing countertop if it is in good condition, or replace just the countertop and backsplash without touching walls. This approach keeps costs controlled and lets families avoid moving out during the upgrade.
Modular cabinet pricing varies with size, material and finish, but typical ranges give a fair starting reference. A straight-line kitchen of about eight running feet usually starts from around ₹1.25 lakh for laminate shutters on BWR plywood and can reach ₹3.5 lakh or higher with acrylic shutters, imported hardware and tall units. A living room entertainment wall ranges from ₹85,000 to ₹2.5 lakh depending on size, lighting and finish. A full wardrobe starts near ₹55,000 for a basic four-door unit and can cross ₹2 lakh for a walk-in with premium internals. Dining room cabinets typically land between ₹60,000 and ₹1.8 lakh. These are directional numbers. A proper quotation after site measurement is always more accurate, and we build that quote line by line with no hidden costs.
We provide a structured warranty covering both the cabinet body and the hardware inside it. Cabinet carcass and shutter construction carry a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects such as delamination, joint failure or warping under normal use. Premium hardware like hinges, drawer channels and soft-close mechanisms is covered directly by the original hardware brand, usually for a period of 5 to 10 years depending on the specific product selected. Laminate, PU, acrylic and veneer finishes are warrantied against peeling and significant discolouration for 5 years. Natural wear from daily use, accidental damage, water standing inside a cabinet, or unauthorised repair work is not covered. At the time of installation, we hand over a written warranty certificate along with a hardware list, so you have clear documentation if a claim ever arises.
Maintenance is straightforward and takes only a few minutes a week. For general cleaning, wipe shutters with a soft damp cotton cloth, followed by a dry microfibre cloth to prevent water streaks. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, scouring pads, acidic liquids or wire brushes, as these can scratch acrylic or strip PU paint over time. For kitchen cabinets, clean oil splashes on the same day they happen. A mild dish soap in warm water works for stubborn grease. Keep drawer channels dust-free every few months by vacuuming out crumbs. Tighten visible handle screws once or twice a year. Do not hang wet cloths over open shutter edges. If a hinge starts to sag or a channel feels stiff, contact our after-sales team early. Small adjustments now prevent larger issues later.

"Two years later, the acrylic finish on our living room cabinets still looks showroom fresh. No yellowing, no chipping, no swollen edges. We clean it with a damp cloth twice a week and that's it. I was sceptical of modular because I thought it would peel. That fear is gone. The factory finish genuinely holds up."
